2006 Season: A strong defensive player who made an enormous impact on the Lady Bucs squad… was a second-team All-Atlantic Sun selection… named A-Sun Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 23 after setting a new conference record for digs in a three-game match with 31 in the win against Lipscomb (10/21/06)…ranked second in the league in digs per game (5.60)…led the team in several statistical categories including total digs (585), digs per frame (5.60) and serve aces with five against High Point (8/29/06) …set a career-best 41 digs and a new Vines Center mark in the win versus Liberty (11/7/06).

 

Prior to ETSU: A decorated junior college player from Taft College in Taft, Calif. … a second-team All-America selection, as well as a All-Central Valley Conference, and All-North Cal honoree … recorded a .358 hitting percentage, along with 5.22 kills per game while playing for the Cougars … also collected 371 digs in 2005, averaging 5.01 per frame.

 

High School: A four-time volleyball letterwinner at Nanakuli High School … also lettered in track and field, basketball, and paddling during high school career.

 

Personal:  Born on November 28, 1986 ... daughter of Morris and Mary Apana … plans on becoming a physical therapist … majoring in interdisciplinary studies.
