2010 Season: Recorded a season-high of 10 kills on two separate occasions…Had 10 kills in a match against Appalachian State on 8/31 and tallied 10 kills in a victory over UNC Asheville on 9/11…Recorded a season-best six blocks in a victory over Chattanooga on 9/22…Finished the year with 123 kills and a .195 hitting percentage…Also had 52 total blocks on the season.

2009 Season: Had a breakout year in 2009 that included many career highs…Led the team with 90 blocks at a 0.92 blocks per set clip on the season…Had a career high 209 kills on the season that included a 15 kill performance against UNC Asheville (10-20)…Finished the year with a career high 12 aces…Had a career high 47 digs on the year including a career best match total of seven against Elon (9-5)…Had a career high eight blocks against Belmont (10-3)…Had 11 matches of double digit kills on the season…Named to the Atlantic Sun All-Academic Team.

2008 Season: Named to the Atlantic Sun All-Freshman team … saw action in 27 matches including 96 sets … finished an outstanding freshman campaign with 166 digs and a .211 attack percentage … had a career high 15 kills in an A-Sun Tournament win over Mercer (11/20) … led the team with 15 solo blocks, 54 block assists and 69 total blocks … received A-Sun All-Academic honors.

Prep: A four-year letterwinner from Columbus East High School and a two sport athlete, Barber was named First-Team All-State and was a South 4A All-Star Team selection … Barber was ranked sixth in the state in kills per game as she had a 41.9 hitting percentage ... Barber also earned First-Team All-State honors in basketball as her team was the state runner-up in 2007 ... Barber also played club volleyball for Circle City.

Personal: Daughter of Theo and Becky Barber… born on April 16, 1990… plans to major in exercise science.
