During the three-hour community service effort, members of the Lady Buccaneer team and coaching staff spent time moving wood piles, cutting and placing insulation, working on wiring, and cleaning floors.
"I always stress to my team that community service is an important role to being a student-athlete," commented head coach Karen Kemp. "Being apart of the Lady Bucs is not all about playing basketball; it's also giving back to the community and helping those in need. Hopefully our young ladies realized how valuable their time and effort was by working on the Habitat House."

The ETSU Department of Intercollegiate Athletics takes pride in its community service activities and strives for 100 percent participation from its student-athletes, coaches and administrators throughout the year.
