ETSU remains unbeaten with 61-58 win over Wofford

(Jan. 20, 2018) With 7.3 seconds remaining and a three-point lead, Wofford inbounded the ball to set up a three point shot to tie the game, but Britney Snowden (Pensacola, Fla.) jumped up and slammed the ball down to help the Bucs secure a 61-58 win. ETSU improves to 12-8 overall and 5-0 in the conference. Including today’s win and with their win on the road against Furman on Thursday, the ETSU Women’s Basketball team capped off a South Carolina road sweep.

Women’s Basketball looks to stay unbeaten at Wofford on Saturday

GREENVILLE, S.C. (Jan. 18, 2018) -- A 23-5 run midway through the game sparked a 14-point lead, giving ETSU its fourth straight conference win to remain undefeated in the conference with a 69-57 win over Furman in Greenville, S.C. Erica Haynes-Overton (Nashville, Tenn.) recorded a team-high of 24 points, while adding four steals. Tianna Tarter (Johnson City, Tenn.) also scored in double figures with 18 and had seven assists.

Bucs outlast Chattanooga in monumental victory

(Jan. 12, 2018) -- In a game that saw the score tied seven different times, the Bucs put together a strong fourth quarter effort to outlast the Chattanooga Mocs 65-58 and snap a ten-game losing streak to their in-state rival. Copney and Haynes-Overton Lift Bucs Past UNCG, 60-52

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Jan. 6, 2018) -- Shy Copney (Johnson City, Tenn.) and Erica Haynes-Overton (Nashville, Tenn.) lifted the Bucs past UNCG on Saturday afternoon with a 60-52 win. ETSU is now 2-0 in conference play and one of three teams undefeated in the conference, alongside Mercer and Chattanooga. The Bucs also improved to 6-2 at home following a three-game win streak.
