(March 13, 2012) – Sophomore ETSU women’s basketball standout Destiny Mitchell (Bluffton, Ga.) put together some of the most impressive numbers on the hardwood back in February, and now we are asking the Buccaneer faithful to vote for the Bluffton, Ga. native for the Atlantic Sun CRONS Achievement Award.

(Feb. 28, 2012) – After putting in hard work both on the court and in the classroom, senior guard Natalie Pickwell (Kingsport, Tenn.) was recognized for her efforts as the Lady Buccaneer sharpshooter was placed on the Atlantic Sun All-Academic Team, which was released by the league office on Tuesday afternoon.

MACON, Ga. (Feb. 28, 2012) – After meeting up just five days ago, the ETSU women's basketball team will face Florida Gulf Coast yet again when the No. 8 Lady Bucs and No. 1 Eagles kick off the General Shale Brick Atlantic Sun Women's Basketball Championship on Wednesday afternoon.

(Feb. 27, 2012) – With the General Shale Brick Atlantic Sun Basketball Championships set to get underway Wednesday afternoon, the conference office released their postseason awards on Monday, and sophomore guard/forward Destiny Mitchell (Bluffton, Ga.) was named Second Team All-Atlantic Sun.

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Feb. 22, 2012) – Coming off a heartbreaking loss at Belmont last Saturday night, the ETSU women’s basketball team will look to bounce back into the win column when the Lady Bucs return home to take on Stetson in an A-Sun doubleheader on Thursday. Tip of the women’s game is set for 4:45 p.m., while the men follow at 7 p.m. inside the MSHA Athletic Center.

NASHVILLE (Feb. 18, 2012) – Despite leading for over 36 minutes of the game, the ETSU women’s basketball team couldn’t overcome a second half meltdown, as freshman guard Katie Carroll buried a three in the corner with 16.4 seconds remaining to carry Belmont past the Lady Bucs, 49-44, on Saturday night inside the Curb Event Center.
