Lady Bucs look to bounce back against UNC Asheville Monday night

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Nov. 26, 2006) - The ETSU women's basketball team will try to put its heartbreaking one-point loss to Georgetown behind them, and look to get back into the win column when they take on UNC Asheville Monday night in the Justice Center. Tip is set for 7 p.m.

 

The Lady Bucs lead the series against the Bulldogs 14-1, with Asheville's only win coming in the last meeting on Dec. 3, 2003, defeating ETSU 55-49 in Asheville. The Lady Bucs last win came on Dec. 30, 2002 when the Lady Bucs defeated the Bulldogs 84-77 in Memorial Center. The Lady Bucs last victory in the Justice Center was on Dec. 7, 2001, 78-68. This will be head coach Karen Kemp's fifth meeting against Asheville, where she is 4-1 versus the Big South foe.
