(Jan. 2, 2009) - It has been 37 days since the ETSU women's basketball team have hosted an opponent inside Memorial Center, but on Saturday afternoon the streak will finally end as the Lady Bucs take on conference rival Jacksonville in their Atlantic Sun home opener. The Dolphins are led by preseason all-conference selection Virginia Gregoire's 10.1 points per game, while junior guard Courtney Jackson has given JU a boost over the last five games. Jackson helped guide the Dolphins to the South Padre Island Shootout title last month, as she averaged 18.3 points and five rebounds while shooting 51.4 percent (19-37) from the field and 52.2 (12-23) from beyond the arc en route to receiving Tournament MVP honors.
