Lady Bucs continue adding depth for 2010-11

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (June 8, 2010) -  Head ETSU women's basketball coach Karen Kemp and her staff announced Tuesday that Jasmine McIntosh (Bowie, Md.) has signed to play for the Lady Bucs starting in 2010-11.

McIntosh, a 5-foot-10 guard/forward combo, was a four-year letterwinner at Bowie High School and led the Bulldogs to 65 wins during her playing career. The Bowie, Md. native averaged double figures in scoring the last three seasons and recorded 12.1 points per game in 2009-10. As a sophomore, McIntosh posted 17 points, six rebounds, three assists and two steals, while notching 16.0 points and seven rebounds per game as a junior. McIntosh was a First Team All-County selection in 2009, while also being tabbed with All-Metro Honorable Mention honors.

"Jasmine is a strong asset as she is not only a solid shooter and scorer, but she can she can help us at the guard and forward positions," commented Kemp. "Along with her scoring ability, Jasmine has a nose for the ball and is a solid rebounder. We look forward to having her join our family and contribute to our recent success."

McIntosh is the second recruit from Bowie, Md. to sign with the Lady Bucs for the upcoming season - joining Ashley Miles. Rounding out the 2010-11 recruiting class are Destiny Mitchell (Bluffton, Ga.), Shawn Randall (Orlando, Fla.) and Akaycha Robinson (Fort Meade, Fla.).
