MACON, Ga. (Feb. 15, 2011) - After posting back-to-back double-doubles and guiding the Lady Bucs to wins over North Florida and Jacksonville, red-shirt senior Latisha Belcher (Martinsville, Va.) received Atlantic Sun Player of the Week honors, announced the league office on Tuesday.

Belcher, who will never be playing at 100-percent after battling back from multiple knee surgeries, continues to give the Blue and Gold everything she can each time out on the hardwood. The Martinsville, Va. native captured her second weekly honor of her career after averaging 13 points, 10.5 rebounds and four steals in 29 minutes of work this past weekend.

The 6-foot-2 post player began the week with a 14-point, 11-rebound effort in the 74-52 victory over North Florida Saturday afternoon inside the MSHA Athletic Center. Then, on Monday night, Belcher stepped up and helped lift the Lady Bucs to an impressive come-from-behind victory over Jacksonville in her final home game. Trailing by 14 at the half and by seven with nine minutes remaining, ETSU rallied for a 75-65 victory as Belcher tallied 12 points, 10 rebounds and a season-high seven steals.

Belcher, who recorded her ninth and tenth career double-doubles, received her first Player of the Week honor since picking up her first career weekly accolade on Jan. 12, 2009.

ETSU returns to action Saturday evening when the Lady Bucs travel to Lipscomb. Tip is slated for 5 p.m. (Eastern) inside Allen Arena.
