The ETSU women’s basketball team saw its four seniors walk across the stage and receive their diplomas this past Saturday during graduation ceremonies held inside the MSHA Athletic Center.
Serena Clark (Biology & Chemistry), Destiny Mitchell (Criminal Justice), Maria Bond (Exercise Science) and Cara Bowling (Exercise Science) received their degrees on Saturday.
“Thank you to these four wonderful young women for their commitment to ETSU Women’s Basketball,” said ETSU women’s basketball head coach Brittney Ezell. “Their impact on our program and University will be felt for years to come, and the legacy they leave behind tells a remarkable story of teamwork, resiliency and perseverance. For four years, people stood and cheered them on at games, and now, we all stand one more time at graduation, in appreciation and celebration of their achievements as people, students and athletes. We, as a program, will remain standing in gratitude as their biggest supporters, while watching them take the next steps forward in their lives as ETSU graduates. Congratulations, Serena, Cara, Destiny and Maria!”
