The Tip-Off
This will be the 13th meeting between the Buccaneers and the Colonels. Eastern Kentucky holds an 8-4 edge all-time but ETSU has won the last three meetings. The Bucs are currently riding a two-game win streak defeating Brevard College last Saturday and perennial NCAA women's basketball power Old Dominion on Monday.

Signature Victory
On Monday night, the Blue & Gold picked up an early season signature win defeating Old Dominion on the road, 56-52. Trailing heading into the fourth quarter, the Bcs embarked on a 14-2 run while holding the Monarchs scoreless for nearly six minutes to take over the lead. Old Dominion has the fourth most victories in women's basketball history with 998.

Burning Bridges
Junior Shamauria Bridges (Miramar, Fla) has gotten off to a hot start to the 2015 campaign averaging 21.8 points per game which ranks second in the Southern Conference. Bridges dropped a career-high 30 points against Brevard College last Saturday inside Brooks Gym. She followed that performance with a 17 point outing at Old Dominion.

It's a Third Quarter thing
Through five games this season the Bucs have dominated coming out of the locker room at halftime, outscoring opponents 96-76 in the third quarter.

Rebound to Happen
After getting outrebounded against Appalachian State, the Bucs have responded by outrebounding each of their last two opponents. Against Brevard, ETSU held a significant rebounding advantage of 54-33. In the victory over Old Dominion, the Bucs outrebounded the Monarchs, 41-40.

Sweet home Johnson City
Over the last two seasons the Bucs hold a 13-2 record inside Brooks Gym including a 2-0 record at home this season.

Scouting the Colonels
The Colonels are 2-1 this season and are coming off an 77-72 overtime victory over Miami (OH) on Tuesday. EKU has three different players who average double digit points with Shameekia Murray leading the way, scoring 21.3 points per game. As a team the Colonels average 76.7 points per game.

Last Time Out vs. Eastern Kentucky
Last year EKU traveled to Johnson City where the Bucs handed the Colonels a 64-49 loss. Bridges scored a game-high 16 points to go along with Destiny Mitchell's double-double. ETSU held EKU to just 25 percent shooting from the field and 23 percent from behind the three-point line. The Bucs forced EKU to commit 11 turnovers.

What’s Up Next?
