Tarter named CSM SoCon Player of the Week

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Dec. 21, 2015) – On Monday sophomore guard Tianna Tarter (Johnson City, Tenn.) was named Southern Conference Player of the Week by CollegeSportsMadness.com.

After being sidelined due to injury for a month, Tarter has played in three games since her injury and has made a making an immediate impact averaging 16.6 points and six rebounds a game. Since Tarter’s return the Bucs have enjoyed a three-game win streak.

In her first game back against Armstrong State, Tarter recorded a career-high seven steals. Against Davidson last Friday the sophomore recorded a double-double, tying her career-high with 26 points along with 11 rebounds in the 65-58 victory at Davidson.
