JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Feb. 10, 2016) – As the regular season winds down the ETSU Women's Basketball team hits the road for a Southern Conference match-up against the Catamounts of Western Carolina on Thursday, Feb. 11. Tip-off is set for 5:00 p.m. and can be seen on the SoCon Digital Network.

All-Time Series Record: 69th meeting, ETSU leads 46-22
It will be the 69th meeting between the Buccaneers and the Catamounts with ETSU leading the all-time series, 46-22. In their previous meeting earlier this season, senior Chandler Christopher (Greeneville, Tenn.) tied a career-high with 20 points as the Bucs rolled to a 74-62 victory inside Brooks Gym.
Closing in on 600
The ETSU Women's Basketball program is just one victory away from becoming the 147th program in NCAA Women's Basketball history to reach 600 wins. ETSU would join Chattanooga, Mercer, UNC-Greensboro and Western Carolina as the only 600+ win programs from the Southern Conference.
Bridges Climbing the Charts
After going 5-of-8 from the three-point line against Furman, junior Shamauria Bridges (Miramar, Fla.) moved into 8th place on ETSU's single-season three-pointer's made list with 62 during the 2015 campaign. The single-season record for most three's in a season is 82 by Michele DeVault back in 2007-08.
Six different ETSU players have registered over 100 points this season with Bridges leading the way with 370 points.
ETSU Hitting Their Stride
The Blue & Gold have been rolling as of late winning three of their last four games and seven of their last ten. During that span ETSU has averaged 68 points per game.
The Bucs lead the SoCon in rebounding with 950 rebounds, averaging 39.8 per game. ETSU has recorded 345 offensive rebounds averaging 14.5 per game, ranking second in the SoCon. Senior Shomari Kendrick (Lexington, Ky.) leads the team averaging 6.5 rebounds per game.
A Trio of Scoring
In eight games this season, ETSU saw three players score in double figures in a single game including the previous game against Furman. Against UNC-Greensboro ETSU saw a season-high five players score in double digits.
Scouting the Catamounts
Western Carolina comes into Thursday's contest with a 2-7 SoCon record and 6-17 overall. The Catamounts lost both games last weekend at Mercer and at Samford. Sophomore guard Ace Easter leads the WCU offense scoring 12.3 points per game.
