GREENSBORO, N.C. (Feb. 12, 2016) – After capturing the 600th program victory on Thursday the ETSU Women's Basketball team looks to keep its three-game winning streak alive against the Spartans of UNC-Greensboro on Saturday. Tip-off is set for 2:00 p.m. and can be watched live on ESPN3.

All-Time Series Record: 25th meeting, ETSU leads 16-8
On Saturday the Buccaneers and Spartans will meet for the 25th time with ETSU coming away victorious in the seven contests. Earlier this season the Bucs defeated UNCG at home, 89-73 inside Brooks Gym.
Joining the 600 Program Win Club
With a 45-43 victory over Western Carolina on Thursday the ETSU Women's Basketball program became the 147th program in NCAA Women's Basketball history to reach 600 program wins. ETSU also became the sixth Southern Confernce team to reach the milestone.
The Blue & Gold have been playing well as of late winning four of their last five games and eight of last 11. In the last four victories for ETSU it has been close winning by an average margin of 2.3 points.
"Sho" Time off the bench
Senior Shomari Kendrick (Lexington, Ky.) in the last five games has found a comfortable role off the bench averaging 7.2 points and 8.6 rebounds per game. With Kendrick coming off the bench the Bucs are 4-1.
On This Date
On February 13th the Bucs have played in six contests all-time, compiling a 4-2 record. It will be the first time ETSU has played on Feb.13 since 2009 when the Blue & Gold defeated Kennesaw State at home, 81-63.
Ezell vs. UNC-Greensboro
Third year head coach Brittney Ezell has an undefeated record against the Spartans, compiling a 3-0 record all-time. Against UNCG, Ezell's teams have averaged 86.6 points per game and a margin of victory of 18.6 points against the Spartans.
Scouting the Spartans
The Spartans of UNC-Greensboro have an overall record of 8-17 and 0-10 in SoCon play. UNCG hasn't won since Dec.31, 2015 when they defeated North Carolina Central, 103-56. The UNCG offensive attack is led by Lucy Mason who leads the SoCon with 22.3 points per game. In the last game against ETSU, Mason registered 23 points, three assists and two steals.
