3-Peat for Tianna Tarter

Tarter also became the fourth SoCon player since 1988 to earn SoCon POTW honors in three consecutive weeks.

Tarter Among the Nation’s Best
Tarter has cemented herself as one of the best players in the SoCon and in the nation through the first two months of the 2016-17 season. Tarter ranks top ten in the NCAA in six statistical categories and ranks first in the SoCon in nine categories. For more information on Tarter’s incredible start to the season, CLICK HERE.

RECORD WATCH
• Tianna Tarter is 12 points away from becoming the 23rd member of ETSU’s 1,000-point club.
• Senior Shamauria Bridges (Miramar, Fla.) is six three-pointers away from becoming ETSU’s all-time career leader in three’s made.

Connect Four at Tennessee Tech
For the second straight year, ETSU women’s basketball won a game in which four players scored in double figures, doing so at Tennessee Tech. Tarter led the way with her game-high 30 points while right behind was sophomore Raven Dean (Charlotte, N.C.) with 17 points and Bridges with 14 points. Off the bench junior Micah Norris (Murfreesboro, Tenn.) registered 11 points.

Capitalizing off Opponent Mistakes

That 70’s Team
ETSU has recorded 70 or more points in three of the last four contests including a season-high 82 points at Tennessee Tech. The 70-point mark is a good sign for the Bucs with the 75 point mark bringing more success as the Bucs are 127-21 since the 2002-03 season when reaching the 75-point plateau.
