JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (January 13, 2017) – It has been a historic season already for ETSU Women’s Basketball junior guard Tianna Tarter (Johnson City, Tenn.). Tarter has proven to be one of the best players not only in the SoCon but in the entire country as well. The ETSU Department of Intercollegiate Athletics on Friday created a page for fans to check on Tarter’s rankings as she looks to earn All-American Status.

The Johnson City, Tenn., native looks to become ETSU Women’s Basketball’s fourth player to earn All-American status and first since Siarre Evans was a WBCA/State Farm Coaches All-American Finalist back in 2009.
This season the junior guard leads the SoCon in points per game and ranks top 25 in the NCAA in seven offensive categories. Tarter holds the SoCon highs this season for points (35), field goals made (15), free-throws made (11), free-throws attempted (16), 20-point performances (9) and 30-point performances (3).
