Scouting the Buccaneers
Coming off a 69-57 over Samford last Sunday, the Buccaneers head into the 80th meeting with Chattanooga with an overall record of 9-8 and 1-1 in SoCon play. ETSU has won three of its last four games by an average of 11.3 points.
Series History vs. Chattanooga
This will be the 80th meeting between ETSU and Chattanooga. The Bucs have met Chattanooga on the hardwood more than any other team in program history. Overall, the Bucs haven’t defeated UTC in its last eight meetings.

Senior Shamauria Bridges (Miramar, Fla.) and junior Tianna Tarter (Johnson City, Tenn.) the past three seasons have accounted for 42.5 percent of ETSU’s 5,099 total points scored the past three years.
Free For a Reason
Against Samford, the Bucs went 22-of-24 from the free-throw line for a free-throw percentage of 91.7 percent. The free-throw percentage ranks in the top five for a single-game in program history. ETSU ranks sixth in the NCAA in free-throw attempts (373) and 15th in free-throws made (244).
Scouting the Chattanooga Mocs
Chattanooga has an overall record of 8-8 and 2-0 in SoCon play after defeating Mercer and Samford last weekend. The Mocs have had a grueling non-conference schedule, squaring off with five nationally ranked opponents, (Florida, Indiana, Louisville, Notre Dame, Connecticut). UTC is led by reigning SoCon Player of the Week senior Jasmine Joyner who leads the team with 12.2 points per game and 9.5 rebounds. Joyner also had 63 blocks on the season.
