The Bucs halted their two-game losing streak on Thursday as the blue and gold defeated Western Carolina, 72-55 in Cullowhee. All-American candidate junior Tianna Tarter (Johnson City, Tenn.) needs eight points to become the first ETSU player since 2010 to score at least 500 points in a season.
