COLUMBUS, Ohio. (March 30, 2018) – Senior guard Tianna Tarter (Johnson City, Tenn.) will participate in the 2018 ProHoops Combine in Columbus, Ohio on Saturday, March 31.
“It’s an honor to be participating in the combine, said Tarter. “It’s going to be fun reuniting with old friends, but then again it’s a business trip. I’m focused and ready to compete. Positive vibes.”
The ProHoops Combine is by invitation only that gives the top college seniors an opportunity to be evaluated by WNBA coaches and General Managers before the draft to be held in April. This event is in conjunction with the 2018 NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Final Four.
The ProHoops Combine will take place at Hilliard Bradley High School and is an all-day event on Saturday. It is the longest running combine and is under administration Linda Hargrove, Jessie Kenlaw, and Crystal Robinson. Hargrove has over 36 years of experience coaching at the College, University, Professional, and Olympic level, while Kenlaw brings over 20 years of experience at the college and professional level. Robinson is the newest partner of the ProHoops Combine and has had a long professional career in the ABL and WNBA.
“Obviously it’s a huge honor for Tianna to be invited,” said head coach Brittney Ezell. “It’s a culmination of four years of her fantastic career at ETSU. We’re really excited to get her up there and see what else is out there for her at the next level. I know that she is eager to go and has been training. I have no doubt that she will continue to represent our university in a first class manor and we wish her nothing but the best. I definitely will report back to Buccaneer fans via social media with how she’s doing, so stay tuned for updates.”
