JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Jan. 13, 2020) – ETSU Women’s Basketball is once again opening its doors, as all former players are invited to participate in reunion activities Jan. 31 and Feb. 1, the first reunion event planned Friday the 31st allowing former players to attend a team practice in Brooks Gym followed by a private social with head coach Brittney Ezell and her staff at Wellington’s, located inside the Carnegie Hotel.
“Alumni are the foundational pillars of our program’s success,” Coach Ezell said. “Everything those that have come through ETSU and Brooks Gym have contributed, and continue to contribute, to ETSU Women’s Basketball is invaluable and treasured by our coaching staff, fans and current players. We want every former player that can make it to this weekend-long celebration to be here, because without their support our program would not be what it is today.”
On Saturday, Feb. 1, the festivities continue with a special gathering in the Wilder Room of the Carnegie beginning at 10 a.m., with the Buccaneer women taking on the Mocs of Chattanooga in Brooks Gym at 1 p.m. Those registered for the reunion will receive a ticket to the game and up to three guest tickets. During the game, special recognition will be given to all former players in attendance.
Do not miss this opportunity to see former teammates, meet new friends and catch up with Coach Ezell during this special reunion weekend. There is no cost to attend, but those wishing to participate must RSVP by January 30, 2020 to firstname.lastname@example.org.
