2003-04 Season: Made 14 appearances last year in a Lady Bucs uniform including a season-high eight minutes versus Furman on Dec. 1, 2003... scored three points versus both High Point (12/6/03) and again versus Appalachian State (2/14/04) in the ETSU come-from-behind win.

Prior to ETSU: West was a two-year starter at Shelton State Community College ... averaged 6.2 ppg in 2002-03 as the team’s point guard ... led team in assists both years she played and led team in steals in 2002-03 ... scored in double figures seven times as a sophomore and shot 37.2% from three-point range ... was a XXII All-Region seclection en route to helping her squad win the 2002 regional championship ... recipient of the team’s “hustle award.”

Prep: West was an all-state selection in basketball and vollyball and was named to the all-county and all-area teams from 1998-2001, including area Most Valuable Player in 2001 ... averaged 15 points and seven rebounds per game ... helped her team win the AAA state volleyball tournament in 2000 and was named the state tournament MVP.

Personal: Jennifer was born on Sept. 1, 1982 and is the daughter of Bruce Edward West and Deborah Kay Shaw West ... she expects to major in Sports Management at ETSU.
