At John Marshall High School: Averaged 18 points, seven assists and five steals during her senior year at John Marshall … named Second Team All-District … was a McDonalds All-American nominee … averaged 19.3 ppg as a junior, along with five assists and four steals … was named to the 2006 Times Dispatch All-Metro girls team, becoming the first Justice player in 10 years to receive the honor … led her team to the Colonial District tournament title in 2006, averaging 27.3 points per contest in the three games.

 

Personal: Born November 22, 1988 … daughter of Joseph Treakle Sr. and Jennifer Taylor … plans to major in dental hygiene.

 

Coach Kemp on Treakle: “It was one of our top priorities to find a true point guard and we found one in Treakle. Not only can she distribute the ball, but she can shoot the long range jumper as well. I feel like this is a steal as we were able to land Treakle here at ETSU.”
