High School:  A 6-foot-2 forward out of North Hunterdon High School, averaged 7.9 points per game during her junior year for the Lions … helped guide North Hunterdon to the Group 4 State Championship in 2009, while also compiling an impressive 99-18 record in her four seasons with the Lions …  assisted the Lions to an undefeated conference record last season en route to claiming the Skyland Conference Delaware Division title … was named Second Team All-County and Second Team All-Conference in 2010-11 … ranked the 135th forward in the nation by ESPN HoopGurlz and was also recruited by Hofstra, Towson, Southern Illinois, Seton Hall and Fairleigh-Dickinson.

 

Personal:  Daughter of Paul and Donya Martinez … born on June 26, 1994 … undeclared major.

 

Coach Kemp on Martinez:  “Imani is a very long, athletic post player who can play with her back to the basket and face up. She plays extremely hard and comes from a successful high school program. She’s a daughter of a coach and has a strong work ethic.”
