Roseline Addo Named SoCon Athlete of the Week

Johnson City, Tenn.-- East Tennessee State University senior Roseline Addo has been named the Southern Conference Cross Country Athlete of the Week on Sept. 12 for her performance during the Catamount Classic on Sept. 8, 2001. The Newbury, England native ran a 13:35 in Cullowhee, N.C. to finish in seventh position. The women's cross country team finished sixth overall at that meet. Addo is the 2001 ETSU Female Athlete of the Year. She won the 400 meter dash in 55.19 seconds at the 2001 Southern Conference Outdoor Championships. Addo will be with the cross country team when they travel to Boone, N.C. to compete in the Blue Ridge Open on Sept. 28.
