East Tennessee State Womens Golf in Tenth After Second Round of ECU Bradford Creek Spring Invitational Johnson City, Tenn.-- East Tennessee State senior Mimmie Dymling battled adverse weather conditions to fire a second-round 78 to move up to sixth in the individual standings and lead the Buccaneers to a tenth place finish after the second round of the Bradford Creek Spring Invitational in Greenville, S.C., hosted by East Carolina University.
East Tennessee State shot a second-round 331 to give them a two-round total of 652 (321-331), 32 strokes behind leader Colorado State University.
Junior Catalina Zuluaga and freshman Kristen Fletcher are tied for 50th with two round scores of 165. Freshman Lauren Rice is in a tie for 67th after firing her second consecutive 84. Sophomore Amanda Ovington is in a tie for 93rd following a second round 90.
The weather was horrendous, with wind, sleet and rain, said Buccaneer head coach Katie Weiss. Mimmies 76 was more like shooting under par.
The final round of the Bradford Creek Spring Invitational will be played tomorrow, March 6.
