FLORENCE, Ariz. (March 16, 2010) - Senior Sinead O'Sullivan (Galway, Ireland) fired a team-best score of 70 and finished tied for second on the individual leaderboard, helping the ETSU women's golf team maintain its fourth place standing following second round play in the Northern Migration Invitational Tuesday at the Poston Butte Golf Club.
Third and final round play will conclude on Wednesday.
O'Sullivan finished the day five strokes back of Idaho's Kayla Mortellaro, who stands at 6-under 138 and leads the tournament. Meanwhile, as a team the Buccaneers are at 601 for the event, seven strokes back of leader Texas-San Antonio but ahead of teams such as Iowa State, Kansas, Nebraska, Kansas State and Texas Tech.
Other ETSU results included a 75 from sophomore Nina Muehl (Vienna, Austria) and a 76 from sophomore Mayte Vizcarrondo (Cadiz, Spain) during the second round. Muehl is tied for 10th, while Vizcarrondo moved up to 27th on the leaderboard.
