Johnson City, Tenn. -- The East Tennessee State women's golf team finished in a tie for sixth after shooting a final-round 320 in the John Kirk Lady Panther Intercollegiate, hosted by Georgia State University at the Eagles Landing Country Club in Stockbridge, Ga.
The Bucs finished tied with Middle Tennessee State, 29 strokes behind host Georgia State.
ETSU was led by senior Mimmie Dymling (Sollentuna, Sweden) who finished in a tie for third (78-75=153) after shooting a 3-over par 75 in Tuesday's final round. The third-place finish is Dymling's career-best, improving on her sixth-place finish at the Bradford Creek Spring Invitational last season. Dymling finished just two strokes behind individual champion Anna Molin of Georgia State.
Catalina Zuluaga (Cali, Colombia) finished well the tournament well, ending the tournament in a tie for 22nd (85-79=164). Kristin Fletcher (Cookeville, Tenn.) also played well, shooting a final round 83 to finish in a tie for 33rd (85-83=168). Freshmen Alysa Few (London, Ontario, Canada) and Danielle O'Reilly (Whistler, British Columbia, Canada) rounded out ETSU's tournament, both tying for 38th.
The Lady Panther Intercollegiate concludes the ETSU women's golf fall schedule. The spring season will begin on Feb. 3-5 with the Florida International University Invitational in Miami, Fla.
