Lady Bucs golf team finishes tied for 14th at Unlimited Potential/BayTree Classic

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (Sept. 7, 2003) - East Tennessee State senior Kristen Fletcher (Cookeville) finished tied for fifth on the individual leaderboard with a 5-over-par 149, helping lead the Lady Bucs to a 14th-place finish in the 36-team Unlimited Potential/Bay Tree Classic Sunday at the Bay Tree Golf Plantation. The Lady Bucs finished 32 strokes behind champion Coastal Carolina, who ended the event with a team score of 26-over-par 602. Individually, Radford's Laura Terebey ran away with the title, finishing with a score of 4-under-par 140, seven strokes ahead of second-place finisher Carol Green. Along with Fletcher, the Bucs Ashley Barton (Seffner, Fla.) and Laura Diaz (Aguadilla, Puerto Rico) both finished tied for 67th with scores of 161. Meanwhile, Kailey Brooks (Bracebridge, Ontario) and junior Danielle O'Reilly (Vancouver, British Columbia) wrapped up the Bucs team score by posting a 163 and 170, respectively.
