KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. (Feb. 25, 2008) - Sophomore Sinead O'Sullivan (Galway, Ireland) fired an even par 72 to earn a tie for third place on the individual leaderboard, and the ETSU women's golf team moved from sixth to fourth on the team standings following Monday's second round of the Cuthbert Cup hosted by College of Charleston at the Cougar Point Golf Course.

The Buccaneers, who improved on their first round score by two strokes and finished at 297 on the day, are 13 strokes back of team leader and host College of Charleston. Meanwhile, O'Sullivan is just three strokes off the lead at 145 (73-72) for the tournament, which is held by the Charleston tandem of Steffi Kerchmayr and Courtney Brink, who are both 2-under for the event.

"I'm really please with the overall depth of our team and the fact that all six of our players are really bringing something to the course every day," said ETSU head coach Stefanie Reynolds, whose team set a school record with 16 birdies during Sunday's first round. "Our depth has really been the key for us in the first two rounds, with everyone contributing. If we can keep that type of focus and determination, we could have a very successful tournament and spring season."

Along with O'Sullivan, junior Lucy Gould (Bargoed, Wales) fired a 1-over 73 to finish tied for 17th. On the day, Gould had six birdies, matching the school record and accomplishing that feat just one day after sophomore Kennie Leigh Eisenhower (Newport, Tenn.) did the same thing. Eisenhower continued her stay at the top of the leaderboard as well, posting a 76 on Tuesday and ending the day tied for 14th. Sophomore Laura Jansone (Jurmala, Latvia) and senior Maria Ringdahl (Farjestaden, Sweden) are tied for 32nd and 37th respectively.
