Wahl earns second A-Sun Golfer of the Week honor

MACON, Ga. (Oct. 26, 2011) – For the second time this season, ETSU freshman Gabriella Wahl (Heidenheim, Germany) has earned Atlantic Sun Conference Women’s Golfer of the Week honors, the conference office announced Wednesday.

Wahl enjoyed her best career tournament finish and single-round score this past weekend at the Palmetto Intercollegiate, placing second on the individual leaderboard and posting a 3-under-par 69 in the third and final round.

Her three round score of 3-under-par 213 was impressive, and helped the ETSU women to a new team-record score for a single round, as the Buccaneers carded a 7-under-par 281 and finished third on the team leaderboard.
