GREENVILLE, S.C. (Sept. 24, 2017) – ETSU’s women’s golf team held steady to finish 11th out of 17 teams after the third and final round of the Lady Paladin Invitational on Sunday in Greensville, S.C.
The Bucs’ 297 team score on Sunday was their best of the weekend by five strokes, on the par-72, 6278-yard Furman University Golf Course.
Hee Ying Loy (Johor, Malaysia) led ETSU with a 1-under par 71 on Sunday, closing with two birdies over the final six holes. The junior wound up 7th in the individual standings at 2-under 214 for the weekend. (Jiwon Jeon of Daytona State took medalist with a course-record of 205, 11-under par.)
Kornbongkoat Sararat (Nongkhai, Thailand) carded her second 75 of the weekend, ending up tied for 37th at 8-over 224.
Tereza Melecka (Belcovice, Czech Republic) posted her second straight 76 on Sunday and finished tied for 52nd at 229.
Ankita Kedlaya (Bangalore, India) shot a 75 – her best round of the weekend – ending play tied for 56th at 230.
Yeji Ahn (Chang Won City, South Korea) turned in her second round of 79 for the tournament, with her total of 238 putting her in a tie for 77th.
