Jessica Duncan (Ooltewah, Tenn.) earned two of ETSU’s three wins in the circle this weekend in Chattanooga, going 2-1 with a 0.79 ERA (2ER/17.2IP) and eight strikeouts. The Ooltewah, Tenn. native tossed six scoreless innings of five-hit ball in the 5-0 win against Rutgers on Saturday, marking 18 straight innings of allowing zero earned runs. On Friday, Duncan pitched a complete game in the 2-1 win against Ball State. The junior right-hander scattered seven hits while fanning a pair of Cardinal hitters and surrendering one unearned run. Then on Sunday, Duncan suffered the loss, despite going 4.2 innings and giving up six runs (two earned) on three hits.
