ETSU Soccer sweeps SoCon Player of the Week awards
SPARTANBURG, S.C. (Sept. 2, 2014) – ETSU's Hannah Short (Bristol, England) and Joao Ramalho (Monte Santo, Brazil) have been named the Southern Conference women’s soccer and men's soccer players of the week, respectively, after leading their teams to a pair of wins last week.

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – ETSU forward Simona Koren has been named the Southern Conference women’s soccer player of the week for all competition from Aug. 22-24 after leading the Bucs to a 2-0 start to the season over the weekend. The selection is made by the league office.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (August 24, 2014) – Sophomore forward Simona Koren (Graz, Austria) was one of four ETSU players to find the back of the net Sunday afternoon as the Bucs cruised past Tennessee Tech, 5-1. Koren, who scored twice in the win, has recorded three goals in the Bucs' first two matches.

(August 14, 2014) – Although it has been nearly a decade since ETSU has competed in the Southern Conference, coaches across the league gave the Buccaneers a vote of confidence Thursday, selecting Sarah Zadrazil (St. Gilgen, Austria) and Hannah Short (Bristol, England) to the preseason all-conference team.
