Women's soccer drops 4-0 decision to Kennesaw State

KENNESAW, Ga. (October 26, 2005) - The ETSU women's soccer team wrapped up conference play on Wednesday with a 4-0 lose to Kennesaw State.  The Bucs fall to 8-10, 4-6 in the A-Sun, while Kennesaw improves to 12-3-1, 8-2-0 in the A-Sun. 

 

Jenae Gzehoviak and Laura Tucker each scored two goals for the Owls. 

 

The Buccaneers were only able to get off four shots to the Owls 20.  Both teams were equal in corner kicks with three. 

 

Freshman goalkeeper Erin Bilyeu (Murfreesboro, Tenn.) had nine saves for the Bucs.

 

ETSU is fifth in the conference and will advance to next weekend's conference tournament at Gardner-Webb.  Play begins Thursday, November 4th and continues through Saturday, November 5th.

           

The Bucs will finish up regular season play this weekend as they host Tennessee Tech on Saturday, Oct. 29, beginning at 2:00 p.m., at the Liberty Bell Soccer Complex for senior day.
