Women's soccer overpowers Campbell in 4-1 victory

(October 13, 2005) - The ETSU women's soccer team defeated defending Atlantic Sun Conference champions Campbell, 4-1, Thursday night at the Liberty Bell Soccer Complex. The Buccaneers improve to 7-7-0, 4-3-0 A-Sun, while the Camels drop to 6-6-0, 4-2-0 A-Sun. "Beating last years conference champs takes us to the next level in our confidence. We've got to keep working hard like we did tonight so we can earn a spot in the conference tournament," said head women's soccer coach Heather Henson. ETSU earned six corner kicks on the night, two of which resulted in goals for the Bucs. At the 80:21 mark, junior Emily Fulcher ( "We needed a goal and the placement of our cross, and the structure of our runs were right.
