JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Sept. 19, 2007) - The ETSU women's soccer team extended its unbeaten streak to five as newcomer Terri Miller (Cape Coral, Fla.) found the back of the net three times to record the first hat trick of her ETSU career as the Bucs dropped Radford, 3-1 on Wednesday afternoon at Summers Taylor Stadium. The Bucs improve to 4-1-2 overall, while the Highlanders fall to 2-4-0.

Radford jumped out to an early lead when Latrice Lee scored on a pass from Megan Horan four minutes into the match. The Bucs tied the match when a Radford foul led to a penalty kick by Miller in the seventh minute.

The Bucs continued to battle as they extended its lead to 2-1 when Miller again found the back of the net from 40 yards out on passes by Jordan Monty (Mesquite, Texas) and Katie Green (Knoxville, Tenn.).

Miller recorded her final goal of the night, at the top of the box with four minutes remaining in the match, on a cross from Kelly Brinkman (Clearwater, Fla.).

It is the first ETSU hat trick since former Buc Emily Fulcher netted three against South Carolina State in 2005.

For the match, the Bucs outshot the Highlanders, 10-4 and earned six corner kicks.

"In the first half we came out a little bit sluggish," said head coach Heather Henson. "We were able to overcome that and were able to play within our system. Terri's play today was phenomenal, but she had a lot of support from her teammates on the field. Because of that support she was able to finish the attack."

The Bucs will open up A-Sun action next week as they take on the Ospreys of North Florida on September 28. The game is set to begin at 4 p.m. For all ETSU women's soccer action, visit www.ETSUBucs.com.
