JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (October 30, 2008) - After winning both its Atlantic Sun Conference matches last weekend, the ETSU women's soccer team will close out its regular season as they travel to Liberty, with a 7:00 p.m., contest Friday in Lynchburg, Va.

ETSU (7-8-1, 5-4-1 A-Sun) comes into the contest losing only two of its last seven matches. The Bucs seem to be on a role, as ETSU earned its fourth consecutive berth in the upcoming A-Sun tournament dropping league foes Stetson 1-0, last Friday and FGCU 2-1, in double overtime Sunday.

Individually, Jordan Monty (Mesquite, Texas) leads the ETSU attack after firing in game-winning goals in back-to-back contests. With her performances against the Hatters and Eagles, the junior forward was recently named A-Sun "Player of the Week."

Liberty (2-12-2, 2-6-1 Big South) comes into the contest winning only one of its last four matches. The Lady Flames look to turn things around against the Bucs as it will be senior night at the Liberty Soccer Complex. Individually, three-time Big South All-Conference player Amy Oberlin leads the way posting 14 points, while sophomore goalkeeper Ashley Nyholt has a 1.53 goals against average in Liberty's last five matches.
