JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (March 21, 2011) - ETSU women's soccer head coach Adam Sayers announced the signing of Welsh national team member Jasmin Dutton (Kinmel Bay, North Wales) to the 2011 signing class on Monday.

"We are very excited about Jasmin joining us," Sayers said. "She is technically excellent, and possesses great tactical understanding and awareness. Jasmin has represented the Welsh National Team at every level, including the senior team, and regularly captained the U19's and U17's, in addition to enjoying a strong club career.  That type of experience is invaluable, and I'm sure she will make an immediate impact here at ETSU as we move the program forward. We are thrilled with her signing."

Dutton then made the jump to the U17 team in 2006, earning eight caps, and played with the U19 team from 2007-present, appearing 22 times and scoring six goals while captaining the team on many occasions. She also represented the Welsh Senior Team from 2009-present, earning eight caps and scoring one goal. She has also received Welsh Girl Player of the Year honors.

Dutton recently captained the Wales U19 team to qualification from their UEFA Women's U19 Championship first round group, which included France, Slovenia, and Georgia. She also scored both goals in a 2-1 win against Belgium last week.
