2009: Played in 15 contests including four starts ... tied for third on the team with two goals ... had four points on the season ... netted her first goal of the year agaisnt Lipscomb on Oct. 4 ... netted a goal against Mercer on Oct. 16 scoring a goal in the 6th minute ... fired 12 shots with seven coming on goal, while leading the team with a .167 shot percentage ... was named to the Atlantic Sun All-Academic team and Dean’s List.

2008: Competed and stated in nine matches… despite a season-ending knee injury, Van Horn was tied for third in goals, while posting five points on the season… led the team with a .200 shot percentage, posting two goals in only 10 attempts… helped the Bucs to their first 2-0 start since the 2003 season, driving home the game-winner in overtime in ETSU’s 2-1 win against Morehead State… had the Bucs only goal at North Florida Sept. 28… posted a 4.0 GPA and was named to the A-Sun All-Academic team and Dean’s List.

2007: Saw action in 20 matches for the Bucs… took over as the starting goalkeeper for ETSU after Erin Bilyeu was injured… set new single-season records for fewest goals allowed (8) and the lowest goals against average (0.89)… posted two shutouts on the year, making 51 saves… led the team with six wins… became the first ETSU player in school history to be named A-Sun Defensive Player of the Week, earning that honor after posting a shutout victory over Gardner-Webb and a tie against Campbell, during the week of Oct. 15… was named A-Sun Defensive Player of the Week honorable mention Oct. 22, after stopping seven Kennesaw State shots, leading the Bucs to a 3-1 win… set a career high in saves against Stetson, during the first round of the A-Sun Tournament, stopping 12 Hatter shots, leading the Bucs to their first-ever conference tournament win… also named to the Atlantic Sun All-Academic team.

Prior to ETSU: Captain and four-year letterwinner at La Reina HS under coach Joe Laraneta and Creighton Van Horn… was the second leading goal scorer in La Reina history… was named to the Tri-Valley All-League First Team… participated in the Olympic Development Program and played club soccer with CSL Premier League… also lettered in track and field… was a member of the Art Club and School Retreat Leadership program.

Personal: Born on May 26, 1989… majoring in business management… daughter of Creighton and Bea Van Horn.
