2007-08 Second-Team All-Atlantic Sun

 

2007: After transferring from the University of Florida, Green competed in all 20 Bucs matches, starting 19… was tied for second on the team in goals (6) and led all ETSU players with 10 assists… had six multi-point games, tying a career high against Mercer, Oct. 23… the Knoxville native posted a goal and an assist, leading ETSU to a 4-0 victory over the Citadel… was named the MVP of ETSU’s Inaugural ETSU Invitational tournament, despite not scoring one goal, however Green created numerous offensive opportunities as the Bucs took home top team honors posting a 1-0-1 record… Green now holds the all-time single season mark for assist, sitting 14 assists shy of the ETSU career record of 24.

2006: Appeared in 21 matches, seeing her season most minutes (42) at South Carolina in the Gators regular-season finale… hit Florida’s final goal in a 3-1 win at No. 17 Auburn… recorded assists versus Jacksonville and at Alabama.

2005: Named Southeastern Conference Freshman of the Week on Oct. 10 after turning in three assists over the previous weekend… appeared in every match, turning in a season-high in minutes (67) versus Auburn in the SEC Tournament… led Florida with six assist on the year… shared the conference lead with five assists in SEC action… started her career’s first match versus Kentucky and second at Mississippi… tuned in first collegiate goal versus Connecticut… recorded two assist against Vanderbilt… turned in a sub-five second 40-meter time, making her the fastest Gator on Florida’s women’s soccer team.

Prep: 2005 TSWA Tennessee Prep of the Year for women’s soccer … four-year starter for Farragut High School, where she was coached by Dennis Lindsay… a two-time all-state selection at Farragut, helping led the Admires to the TSSAA Class AAA State Championship… a four-time member of the all-region and all-district teams and was named MVP of both in 2005.

Personal: Born on Dec. 26, 1987… major is undecided… daughter of Steve and Anne Green.
