In singles action, the Lady Bucs took four of the six matches. In the No. 1 singles position, Kelsey Linville defeated Masha Ilina, 6-2, 6-3 while Olya Batsula defeated Michele Fanney, 6-2, 6-2 in the No. 2 slot. Elena Volobueva was defeated by Kim Whelan after a hard fought match 7-5, 3-6, 6-0 in the No. 3 position and senior Sandie Knight defeated Kate Levitt 3-6, 6-2, 6-1. Freshman Tara Byrne defeated Meredith Skeeters in the No. 4 slot, 6-2, 6-1, while Vita Moskaliova (
