In No. 1 doubles action, Olya Batsula (
The Lady Bucs again dominated in singles action, winning four of the matches in straight sets. In No. 1 singles Masha Ilina defeated Scarlet Alfonzo, 6-1, 6-4. Olya Batsula defeated Iva Stojancev, 6-4, 6-0 in the No. 2 position, while Sandie Knight defeated Nina Surviladze, 5-7, 6-2 (5) in the No. 3 slot. In the No. 4 position, Tara Byrne defeated Liza Bensimon, 6-4, 6-1. Sylwia Ziolkowska defeated Anita Dajc, 7-5, 6-3 in the No. 5 position. Freshman Vita Moskaliova defeated Tonya Ahuja, 6-1, 1-6, 6-4 in the No. 6 slot.
"We played very well today. I am glad to see us get back on track from our previous loss. The weather was very cold and windy and we were mentally tough in all of the matches. We are looking forward to the match Sunday against Tennessee Tech and then off to three matches in
The Lady Bucs are back in action Sunday, at home, against the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles at 1 p.m.
