ETSU Women's Tennis falls on the road to No. 47 VCU

RICHMOND, Va. (Feb. 23, 2014) - The ETSU women's tennis team suffered a 6-1 setback at No. 47 VCU Sunday, Feb. 23.

The Buccaneers (3-7) were unable to overcome a talented VCU lineup, as ETSU managed to capture just one singles win.

Sophomore Anna Gerbasi (Caracas, Venezuela) picked up a win at No. 4 singles, outlasting VCU's Ludivine Burguiere, 6-3, 4-6, 11-9.

ETSU will continue non-conference play as it visits UL-Lafayette Saturday, March 1 at 1:00 p.m.
