Women's Tennis Completes Fall Schedule
Friday, November 05, 1999 JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. - Paty Vega and Mami Inoue were both eliminated from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's Southeast Regional in Winston Salem, N.C. The Bucs' Inoue lost to Kendrick Bunn (North Carolina) 0-6, 1-6, in the opening round of singles' qualifying on Thursday, Nov. 4. Vega was eliminated by Meiling Martin (Tennessee) 6-1, 6-3 in the main singles draw this afternoon. Vega and Inoue also played in the doubles draw and were defeated by Kendrick/Marjec (North Carolina), the #7 seed, 8-4. The ITA tournament completes the fall schedule for the ETSU women. |
