GREENVILLE, S.C. (April 7, 2004) - The East Tennesse State women's tennis team fell by a score of 6-1 to the Lady Paladins, who remain perfect in conference play (8-0), and continue a streak of forty-nine consecutive regular season conference wins. With the road loss, East Tennessee State falls to 13-10 overall, 4-4 SoCon while Furman improves to 13-7, 8-0. "Today's match was very important, and it was crucial for us to win the doubles point," commented head coach Steve Brooks. "We needed that point and we weren't able to pull it off.
