Women's tennis closes out ETSU Invitational with titles

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Sept. 18, 2010) - The ETSU women's tennis team picked up several big victories at both the ETSU Invitational and the USC Upstate Invitational on Saturday afternoon.

"We had a great weekend with many good wins and I was glad to see that the hard work in practice the last several weeks has paid off," said ETSU women's assistant coach Travis Sandlandt.

Tara Sheets (Gate City, Va.) won the B flight championship while freshman Giulia Andreazza won the C flight championship. Jessica Ratliff (Bristol, Tenn.) bounced back this afternoon with a couple of singles victories as well.
