BRISTOL, Tenn. (April 14, 2015) - The ETSU women's tennis team will conclude regular season play Wednesday, April 15 with a SoCon match versus UNC Greensboro. The match is set to begin at 1:00 p.m., at the Bristol Racquet & Fitness Club in Bristol, Tenn.

Prior to Wednesday's match, ETSU will recognize its lone outgoing senior, Jessica Brumit (Elizabethton, Tenn.). During her four-year playing career at ETSU, Brumit has earned 104 total wins, posting a 62-19 mark in singles play and a 42-20 mark in doubles. Impressively, Brumit has maintained a cumulative conference record of 40-6.

GETTING UP TO SPEED
After consecutive 4-3 setbacks, the Buccaneers (12-5, 4-2 SoCon) bounced back over the weekend, earning a pair of victories on the road versus USC Upstate and Furman.
ETSU defeated USC Upstate, 7-0, Friday, April 10. Two days later, the Bucs knocked off league opponent Furman, 5-2, in Greenville, S.C.
Three ETSU players have recorded 12 or more singles wins on the year: Lyn Yee Choo (Kuching, Malaysia), Ioanna Markesini (Athens, Greece), and Regina Nychytailova (Maripol, Ukraine).
Choo, who was named SoCon Women's Tennis Player of the Month for March, has posted a 14-3 spring singles record. Markesini and Nychytailova have earned 13 and 12 singles wins, respectively.
In doubles play, Markesini has teamed with Melissa Esguerra (Derrimutt, Australia) to win five consecutive matches. Nychytailova and Brumit have earned four consecutive doubles victories.
ETSU (4-2) currently ranks third in the Southern Conference standings behind Samford (6-0) and Chattanooga (5-0).
The Bucs are 3-1 at home this season.
OPPONENTS AT A GLANCE
Fifth-place UNC Greensboro will enter Wednesday's match having won two if its last three matches.
The Spartans (8-9, 2-2 SoCon) split a pair of league contests at home over the weekend, defeating Mercer, 6-1, and falling to Samford, 7-0.
UNCG is 1-8 on the road this year.
