ETSU heads into regional play next weekend on a hot streak

WINSTON SALEM, N.C. (Oct. 11, 2015) – The East Tennessee State University women’s tennis team had six matches on the docket for the last day of the Wake Forest Invitational. At the end of the day, the Buccaneers took home a 6-0 record. Three Bucs won their singles flights and ETSU picked up three victories over ACC competitors.

“Today was a great day for ETSU tennis,” said Bucs Head Coach Travis Sandlant. “The field at Wake Forest is very strong and to have three champions come out of singles competition shows how much talent we have.”
