Women’s tennis set to compete in FSU All Conference Showdown

The tournament takes place from Nov. 10-12

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (Nov. 10, 2017) – The ETSU women’s tennis team traveled to Tallahassee, Fla. to compete in the FSU All Conference Showdown hosted by Florida State University. The tournament is set for Nov. 10-12 with 11 teams competing in this showdown.  All matches will be played at the Scott Speicher Tennis Center with matches beginning around 9:00 a.m. and ending near 5:00 p.m.

In the Gold Singles Draw, Ioanna Markesini (Athens, Greece) will compete against Petra Hule from FSU, while Alory Pereira (Sao Paulo, Brazil) will take on Katty Weymouth from Furman in the Garnet Singles Draw. In the Seminole Singles Draw, Melissa Esguerra (Derrimutt, Australia) is set to compete against Troy’s Efriliya Herlina and Yi Chi Ma (Kaohsiung, Taiwan) is in the Speicher Singles Draw against Emilia Granstrom from UCF.

The four Buccanneers will combine to create to two of doubles. Alory Pereira and Ioanna Markesini will pair up to take on Jordan/Goetz from WVU in the Doubles Gold Draw. In the Doubles Speart Draw, Yi Chi Ma and Melissa Esguerra will combine to take on UW’s Zorani/Grambeau.
