2015-16: Markesini was one of four different Buccaneers to tally 16 victories in 2016...Markesini, who went 16-3 in singles action, was also a part of the squad's winningest doubles tandem with Marina Espana....The duo of Markesini and Espana went 17-3 in doubles...Markesini won nine of her first 10 singles contests and went 7-2 to close out her sophomore season.

2014-15: Finished as one of the Buc's top singles by going 15-5 overall and 4-2 in the SoCon...She went 8-4 as the third position player for ETSU, while going 7-1 in the fourth and fifth positions...Went 12-6 in doubles play while going undefeated in SoCon play by going 7-0...Paired mainly with Melissa Esguerra and compiled a 10-5 record together in doubles...Markesini started her season going 5-0 in singles play...Was ranked 70th in the nation with Lyn Lee Choo in March.

Prior to ETSU: Reached a ranking of 1182 in the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) in 2011, and in doubles, achieved a career high ranking of 1225 in 2012.

Markesini carried a No. 2 junior ranking in Greece and was tabbed ninth in Open Women Greece. She is also competing in the Greek Tennis Federation Championships and Masters, and was honored by BNP Paribas with the Fair Play Award at the Junior Tennis Masters in Athens. The native Greek also recorded her highest WTA ranking win against Maria Sakkari who was ranked 638 at the time in 2012.

Personal: Born Nov. 23, 1995... Daughter of Geroge Markesinis and Eleni Tsiambousi.
