The East Tennessee State men's and women's track & field teams enjoyed a successful day at the 2001 Clemson Outdoor Relays.

Two relay teams on the women's side captured victories. Both the 4x400 (3:50.24) and 4x800 (9:24.84) squads won their events.

On the men's side, senior Greg Sprowl won the 5,000 meter race with a time of 15:13.52.

The Bucs also claimed the javelin champion. Josh Artau hurled the spear 190'03 for the win.
